Pichón

Pichón was an experimental pop-up restaurant and culinary research project inspired by Mexico City street food and Mexican culinary traditions and histories. The project was founded on the belief that food can be a vehicle for strengthening our community from its cultivation to its consumption; supporting the farmers that share our city, tending to our own gardens, cooking together and sharing meals with friends, neighbors and family. From 2012-2016, Emma Rosenbush, Kenny Curran, PJ Rountree and I collaborated closely with local farmers and providers in the Mexico City area, specifically with Yolcan in Xochimilco and produced over 60 food events.
